It is made from high-quality organic ingredients and is ideal for preparation with the My.Yo yogurt maker. Kefir has a long tradition in its regions of origin, such as Tibet and the Caucasus, and offers not only a unique taste but also a multitude of advantages.

It is suitable for various types of milk, including:

  • All UHT milk varieties, optimal for 3.5% fat
  • Fresh milk (must be boiled beforehand)
  • Lactose-free milk, ideal for those with lactose intolerance

Ingredients

Organic maltodextrin (min. 98%), from controlled organic farming. Contains the microbial strains Lactococcus lactis, Leuconostoc, Streptococcus Thermophilus, Kluyveromyces marxianus, as well as the probiotic LA-5®.

Usage

The preparation of kefir is simple: Mix 1 liter of milk with the kefir ferment and let the mixture sit in the My.Yo yogurt maker without power for 24 hours at 25-35°C. For best results, make sure to boil the milk beforehand if using fresh milk.
