The Prontosan Wound Gel is a sterile hydrogel specifically designed for cleaning and decontaminating deep wounds as well as burns (Grade 1-2). With its powerful ingredients, it dissolves thick wound crusts and supports a healing-friendly environment by preventing the formation of a new biofilm.

Ingredients

0.1 % Polyhexanide (Polyhexanidum), 0.1 % Undecylenamidopropyl betaine (Undecylenamidopropyl betaine), Purified water (Aqua purificata), Glycerol (Glycerolum), Hydroxyethylcellulose (Hydroxyethylcellulosum)

Application

The Prontosan Wound Gel should be applied topically to the cleaned wound. After cleaning the wound with the Prontosan wound rinse solution, apply the gel directly to the wound surface or into the wound cavities. Cover with a secondary dressing and leave on the wound until the next dressing change.
