Suprasorb Liquacel Pro is a wound dressing made from soft, flexible nonwoven fabric composed of sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and reinforcing cellulose fibers. Upon contact with wound exudate or blood, the absorbent dressing forms a gel that creates a moist environment for the wound. The Lock-In technology captures cellular debris and bacteria present in the wound exudate and removes them with the dressing change. The high vertical absorption of exudate in the fiber dressing protects the wound environment and edges, thereby supporting the healing process.
