It is ideal for use on wounds that are heavily crusted or have formed biofilms. By using polyhexanide and betaine, the gel creates a moist and healing-promoting environment, thereby supporting the healing of wounds.

Application

Prontosan Wound Gel X steril should be used topically. After cleaning the wound with the Prontosan wound cleansing solution, apply the gel directly to the wound surface or into the wound pockets. Cover with a secondary dressing and leave on the wound until the next dressing change.

Composition

The gel has an optimal viscosity for treating large superficial wounds and is suitable for both acute and chronic wounds.
