Prontosan Wound Gel X sterile is a specialized hydrogel that is excellent for cleaning and decontaminating deep wounds and burns. It is ideal for use on wounds that are heavily crusted or have formed biofilms. Using polyhexanide and betaine, the gel creates a moist and healing environment, thereby supporting wound healing.

Ingredients

Application

Prontosan Wound Gel X sterile should be applied locally and topically. After cleaning the wound with Prontosan wound irrigating solution, apply the gel directly to the wound surface or into the wound pockets. Cover with a secondary dressing and leave it on the wound until the next dressing change.

Composition

The gel has optimal viscosity for the care of large superficial wounds and is suitable for both acute and chronic wounds.
